A preventative, evidence-informed approach to your child’s health helps support optimal growth, development, and long-term wellbeing from infancy through adolescence. Dr. Meghan van Drimmelen provides naturopathic care for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and adolescents, working with families to support each stage of development and address a wide range of health concerns.
Developmental and Well Child Care
Well-child visits include physical exams, developmental milestone assessments, nutritional guidance, and anticipatory guidance for each stage of growth. Parents are also able to discuss any health concerns during these visits.
When concerns arise, Dr. van Drimmelen uses a range of child-appropriate, evidence-based naturopathic therapies and may prescribe conventional medications when appropriate. She works in collaboration with your child’s full healthcare team, including pediatricians and family doctors, to support coordinated care.
Visit Schedule
Developmental checks are typically scheduled at:
1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, and annually thereafter.
Additional visits are available at any time as needed between scheduled check-ins.
